Through the Lingua Llama site, you can book your spot and then instantly have access to the meeting link. You can also add the event to your calendar (no matter the app you use). You will have access to free events in English hosted by many other people around the world too!

Preparation for sessions:

Before each session, you must watch the entire short video or read the short article. Feel free to take some notes or try to remember your opinion on the topic/opinion expressed.

Description of sessions:

During the sessions, we will answer questions and discuss aspects of the article or video including the theme, writing style, vocabulary etc. The goal is to practice your English comprehension (reading and listening skills) and then to engage in spontaneous conversation, share ideas in English, and expand your vocabulary.

Please note: it is important that you read (or skim) the short article/watch the short video before joining this event. 

I always try to choose the material that will take 15-30 minutes or less to read/watch, as I am aware that everyone is busy. It really helps the discussion aspect of these events if you are at least familiar with the general idea of the material before joining.
